Review: This terrific Shiraz from South Eastern Australia is a terrific
value.
Dark, rich and delicious, this well-crafted wine is a step above
your average $10
bottle of Australian Shiraz. This medium to full-bodied wine has
a deep, rich
purple color and delicious aromas of black cherries, licorice, plums
and dried
herbs. The wine possesses intense fruit flavors that are balanced
by firm tannins,
ending with a delightfully long finish. There's a good hit of oak
in this wine,
which may need some time in the bottle to fully integrate. Drink
this wine over
the next 5 years. (6/16/05)
